Born on September 13, 1963 in Parcelas Aguas Claras, Ceiba, and raised in a rural agricultural community, in the midst of nature. His father was a laborer and farmer, his mother a house-wife. He is the youngest of nine siblings.

• Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, Ohio State University, 1988

• Specialist in industrial processes for cosmetics, foods, drugs, pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology. Renowned troubleshooter in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

• 16 years of experience in the development and improvement of industrial processes and systems.

• Eight years of experience as industrial technical services entrepreneur, in documentation and information systems for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries

• For the past eight years, president of two successful local companies with over 30 technical employees
